Refund Policy

At BY LIME, we want you to be pleased with your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied at www.BYLIME.com, items may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of the first delivery attempt. The merchandise must be in original condition, and we do not accept refunds for products showing any signs of wear or damage. In addition, we do not allow returns or exchanges on any altered items. These would include custom sizing, engraving, rhodium polishing, and special orders.  Essentially, any items that we do not usually keep in stock or that have to be custom made are not accepted for returns or exchanges. At BY LIME, we are confident that you will be thrilled with your jewelry, however, if the item is not to your liking or specifications, please contact us immediately so that we can help you with your returns or exchanges within 14 days of the first delivery attempt.

For custom-made or specially ordered pieces (including engagement rings and wedding bands) are created for each individual client based on a specific order, and therefore, may not be returned or exchanged.

To return an item for a refund or exchange within 14 days, you must first speak with a representative at BY LIME to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Without a return authorization number, the item will be shipped back to the sender. Your return package should include the item along with any packaging and documents that came with it.

Go to your local united postal service or third party carrier (UPS, FEDEX), have the item fully insured for the purchase price and ship it to our address at BY LIME, 62 W 47th St, UNIT 1111 New York, NY 10036. T.+1 917-251-4298.

If returning items or for resizing, cleaning, or repairs outside of 14 days, you must first speak with a representative at BY LIME.  If approved for a return, you can obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Without a return authorization number, the item will be shipped back to the sender. You may return your merchandise using the carrier of your choice (UPS, FEDEX).

Please package your items securely in the original packing materials. If your return item is for refund or exchange, please include any and all necessary documents. We strongly recommend you insure your return shipment for its full purchase value. We are not responsible for lost or stolen articles.

In-Store Return

You may also return your item at BY LIME store located at 62 W 47th St, UNIT 1111, New York, NY 10036. Please bring your merchandise with the original package and receipt for a full refund within 14 days. If you would like to exchange your purchase, we will help you find the right item. Please note, all of in-store purchases and exchanges are subject to New York sales tax.

Center Diamond Return and Upgrade Policy

All GIA certified diamonds purchased from BY LIME are eligible for a refund or credit amount of up to 100% of the purchase price for the diamond alone, based on current market conditions. That amount must go towards a new diamond that is at least double in value or more. Because we continually restock our inventory, a minimum of three year period is required before we are able to accept your trade-in. The diamond you are trading in must be first inspected by our gemologists to ensure it is in original condition and accompanied by the original diamond certificate and sales receipt. If the current ring setting can still be used we will mount your new diamond at no additional cost, however, we will not be able to accept it as part of the trade-in. Should you require a new setting, we can offer to place a CZ in the center of your old.

We have a 30-day return policy for all GIA certified diamonds purchased from BY LIME, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.  

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition as you received it, unworn or unused with tags and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.  To start a return, you can contact us at info@bylime.com. If your return item is acceptable, we will send you a return shipping label, as well as, instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

In-Store Return

You may also return your item at BY LIME store located at 62 W 47th St, UNIT 1111, New York, NY 10036. Please bring your merchandise with the original package and receipt for a full refund within 14 days.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and rectify it immediately. 

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned - custom products (such as special orders or personalized items).  We do not accept any returns for hazardous materials. Please get in touch with us if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept any returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

Please note that BY LIME cannot be responsible for any shipping charges or insurance fees on refunded items. Ask for a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached us. For security purposes, do not write the word “jewelry” or “by lime” anywhere on the outside of the box.

Once the item is received by BY LIME, our quality assurance department will inspect the merchandise. After the item is verified, we will let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember, it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refunds.

International Returns & Exchanges

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your international online purchase at www.BYLIME.com, please contact us via email or phone immediately. You will be sent a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) via email that must be printed and enclosed with your return. All returns require an RMA in order to be processed. If you choose to return an item for any reason and the item is presented in saleable condition, we will provide you with a refund of the original item price and any duties and taxes originally paid on the item, in the same currency and using the same exchange rate as your original order.   Returns are eligible for a full refund if returned within 30 days. Full-priced items in-stock items presented after 30 days will be credited based on the current selling price.  We cannot exchange, replace or credit, monogrammed, or personalized items.

Cancel Or Change An Order

For any reason, if you would like to change or cancel an order, please call us at +1 917-251-4298 or email us at info@bylime.com. We will try to accommodate your order changes prior to shipping confirmation. Due to certain changes, shipping delays may occur. We are unable to accommodate changes or cancellations on special orders/requests and/or orders that have already shipped. If your order has already shipped, please contact us immediately to set up a merchandise return once you have received the shipment.
